Water Tank

Water tanks are used to provide storage of water for use in many applications, drinking water, irrigation agriculture, fire suppression, agricultural farming, both for plants and livestock, chemical manufacturing, food preparation as well as many other uses. Water tank means a storage vessel, elevated or at ground level, that holds potable or non-potable water for use in including, but not limited to, a potable water system, a manufacturing process or other type of process, or for fighting fires. The main role of a water storage tank is to store water before it is used for drinking, washing, cleaning, and so on – but many storage tanks are more complex than they seem. Natural disasters have been making headlines with an alarming frequency, often leaving victims with limited access to fresh safe drinking water. A well-planned water storage system can ensure you and your loved ones have plenty of clean water in the event utilities have become interrupted without warning. Water storage tanks, also known as cisterns, are primarily used to store water for domestic and consumptive purposes in households or buildings. Cisterns are typically found in areas where a potable. Various materials are used for making a water tank: plastics (polyethylene, polypropylene), fiberglass, concrete, stone, steel (welded or bolted, carbon, or stainless). Earthen pots, such as matki used in South Asia, can also be used for water storage.
